GREEN GEM BOXWOOD
Green Gem Boxwood
A great little hybrid Boxwood that requires very little trimming / pruning to maintain a perfect little round ball of tight, dark green foliage. Has shown to hold excellent green color through the winter with excellent hardiness as well. A slow grower that only reaches a mature size of about 2′ x 2′. Makes a great   choice for foreground plantings, as well as for short, low growing, formal hedge.

Green Velvet Boxwood
Green Velvet Boxwood is an extremely hardy hybrid boxwood variety that is especially well suited for use in the southeastern US, due to its increased tolerance of warmer climates & higher humidity. Nice dark green foliage is quite typical for the boxwood species, with minimal bronzing occurring in winter. Bronzing will be more pronounced in colder climates, or in areas where they are exposed to more severe wintry conditions ( winds, etc ).
  This variety of boxwood will get slightly larger than some of the smaller, more dwarf versions…..but can be maintained at lower widths & heights through regular trimming / maintenance. Probably not the ultimate choice for those situations where extremely low height is needed ( know gardens, low formal hedging, etc ), but a perfect fit for situations where a nice, neat, evergreen hedge of approx 4-5 feet high is needed. Very, very nice boxwood variety – holds up very, very well year after year – one of our best sellers, period.
